GRANT'S CLEANING SERVICES - TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

 

 BOOKINGS
For all once a month or once every 2 month bookings there is a minimum of 3 cleans to be booked, each clean is to be paid separately and by bank transfer or payment link or cash on the day.
PAYMENT
We accept payments by bank transfer or a payment link and cash on the day. For bank transfer and payment links these details are sent after we have completed your clean. All payments MUST be made within 24 hours of the clean being completed.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For once a month or once every 2 month cleans
You will be text the evening before via a non reply number or emailed from our email address.
To provide additional information for the next day you must call our office number 0116 3325138 before 8pm.
If you are cancelling your clean for the next day we need to be contacted before 8pm. After 8pm we do not monitor the office phone and we will not be able to make the cancellation for the following day, you will be charged the full charge for the clean and only the windows that can be accessed will be cleaned.
If a cancellation is made on the day this will result in the windows that can be accessed being cleaned only and a full charge for the clean to be paid.

Termination of cleaning by the customer
You are able to cancel at any point with 30 days notice after the last clean has been completed.
Cancellation before the 3rd clean will mean all cleans outstanding will be charged by invoice and will need to be paid within 7 days.
Termination of cleaning by ourselves
Grant’s Cleaning Services reserve the right to cancel our services at any point in time without notice.
If we arrive at your property and the (some or all) windows are in a bad state of repair (wooden windows can have poor paintwork, putty falling away from the frames, cracked glass rotting or deteriorating wood frames, sills or doors) we will not clean these and we will still charge for the first clean. You will be notified by text message and photos will be taken for reference.
HOW WE WORK
We will text the night before your clean is due to ask that any gates are left unlocked from our non reply text number.
 
We use a water fed pole with pure water to clean the windows (glass, frames, sills and doors) and we clean the windows in all weathers including light to medium rain, wind and snow.
 
We will not remove silicone, rust, cement, mortar, paint from the glass, frames, sills and doors.
 
The clean to the frames and sills is a light clean we will not restore the uPVC or wood to its original state and we will not remove heavy staining or discolouration of the uPVC or wood.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Leave any gates unlocked.
 
Make sure access is clear.
 
If you have a pet please clean any mess up before we arrive.
 
If there is excessive pet mess in the garden we will refuse to clean the windows as this is a health and safety issue**.
** PLEASE NOTE: We will still charge the full amount for the window clean. We will take a photograph for our records and you will be notified on your payment text that some windows have not been cleaned due to this reason.
24 HOUR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
We provide a 24 hour guarantee for all cleans, which means if you’re unhappy with the clean we will come back and re-clean the affected windows free of charge. You must contact us within the 24 hours by calling our office number (Office: 0116 3325138) to make us aware of any issues.
